As the video shows, the technicians hand-clean the horizontal surfaces such as door frames, windows, and other areas working top to bottom with hand-vacs fitted with HEPA filtration to minimize airborne particulates during cleaning. Brendan takes the viewer up the staircase to show a finished space with furniture that has already been cleaned, including the furnishings before the crew moved downstairs to work on the ground level. As he points out, as the technicians clean the surfaces, some dirt and debris wind up on the floor, which is why SERVPRO leaves the cleaning and polishing of the floor as the final step of the detailing in this two-story barn building.

David, a production manager for SERVPRO, takes over for the second half of the deep clean on the structures and shows that after the HEPA vacuuming of the building, the technicians are now cleaning the floors. The techs are using a combination of hand-mopping, Cimex machine, a low moisture way to lift away dirt from all types of surfaces including carpet, and using their bright and neutral cleaning agents. The portable extraction units remove any moisture behind in the cracks in the substrate from the cleaning, and a truly clean, shiny floor is the result.
