Water Loss in Nashua

The Before Photo does not illustrate the degree of water damage to this Nashua home. The Jacuzzi tub in the second-floor bathroom overflowed and saturated the floor above. Unfortunately, gravity took over, and many gallons of spillage seeped through the subfloor, the floor trusses and soaked the drywall ceiling below. We demolished the water stained and soggy panels to open up the affected area. The After Photo shows the exposed sprinkler head, light fixture, and trap of the hot tub. Our SERVPRO ASD applied structural drying techs dried out and salvaged the building materials, mitigating expensive rebuilds for our client. Once exposed, we sprayed an antifungal agent to limit the chance of mold spores growing into colonies. With the water removed, the cavity dried, disinfected, and sanitized; the ceiling was ready to be buttoned up.
