SERVPRO Tools Extract Water Damage from a Nashua Home
The Before Photo of this Nashua residence shows how pervasive water damage can be underneath surfaces. Several feet of sheetrock, subfloor, and carpet needed careful removal to allow SERVPRO technicians to implement restoration tools like air movers, extractors, and dehumidifiers. Techs can also improve air quality where needed with HEPA-filter air scrubbers and containment measures to prevent potential microbes from migrating to other rooms or through vents.
In the After Photo, SERVPRO finished demolishing flooring and walls to salvage the home. Baseboards, subflooring, and some drywall was cut out. Not only does this step allow air movers and dehumidifiers to dry interior structural material, but it can also lessen repair costs for homeowners. Once the space is dried to a pre-disaster level, restoration technicians can install replacement subfloors, sheetrock, baseboards, and carpeting.
